Why Does Easter Matter?

2,000 years ago, something significant happened that would change the course of history and eternity all at the same time. Each year on Easter, we come together to celebrate that event - the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus came from heaven, took the punishment for our sins upon himself and gave His life for our own. That truly is an act deserving of our gratitude, and His rising from the grave deserves to be celebrated. Easter is all about those two things: gratitude and celebration. Easter Sunday is the most important day of the year for those who follow Jesus and we invite you to join us in celebrating Jesus defeating death and showing gratitude for the sacrifice He made out of His great love for us.
