No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he’ll never let you be pushed past your limit; he’ll always be there to help you come through it.

You are not alone. Whatever you have faced in your life, whatever trials, troubles, or temptations, they are not beyond what many others have had to deal with. We live in a fallen world and every generation has had to experience death, disease, addiction, and every other heartbreaking aspect of this fallen world. No form of temptation is new. Many have been tempted by the same things. Some have failed and given in to these temptations, and others have stood firm and resisted. But no matter what, God has never let you down or abandoned you. God loves you and has been watching over you, even when you resisted or rejected Him.

No matter what lies in front of you, it's important to keep in mind that God is there and He wants to help you through it. However, He allows you to have free will. He will not force you to follow Him, love Him or even live a life that honors Him. You have the choice. God is waiting for you to choose Him. He is ready to help you through whatever you are going through and willing to be your Comforter.
