True North Youth is the youth ministry of True North Church. It’s designed for students in grades seven to twelve. We create an environment where young people can come as they are, not having to shape up or improve to fit in, but where all are welcomed and feel safe. We are a youth ministry that exists to show the next generation the love and freedom found in Christ.

Our program starts at seven every Wednesday night. The first thirty minutes of our program is designed so that students and leaders can connect and build relationships with each other. The remainder of the program includes games, praise and worship, and biblical teaching

Our purpose is to introduce and disciple the next generation by encouraging and empowering them to live a life of freedom found in Jesus. (Galations 5:1)

Our leadership team consists of passionate and spirit-filled young adults who love Jesus and are committed to investing in middle school and high school students, while empowering them to live for Jesus week in and week out! Every Wednesday leaders connect with students, encourage them in the Lord and lead a crew.

What grade does my child need to be in to attend Youth?
Youth is for students in grades 7-12

What time does Youth start and end?
Youth is from 7pm-8:30pm every week!

My child is new, where should they go when they get there?
When your child arrives there will be leaders at the door welcoming them and directing them to the New To Youth area where they can have a treat on us and meet other students and leaders.  

What can my child expect?
They can expect to connect with leaders and students, enjoy a hang time space with games, food and conversation, and to be put into a Tribe based on the location of school. From there we go into the service for fun competition, praise & worship, preaching of God's word and crews based on grade. We believe your child will have the night of their life from opportunities to build great relationships, corporate worship, a thought provoking message, and small group conversation centered around our faith in Jesus.

As a parent what can I expect?
You can expect your child to be welcomed, loved and encouraged in a Christ centered environment. Leaders will connect with your child through in person conversation and text or phone calls if permitted to do so.

Who does your leadership team consist of?
Our leadership team consists of young adults who love Jesus and are passionate about investing into the next generation. All of our leaders are background checked and have committed to living and leading to a biblical standard.
