Oftentimes we may strive and try to be the “perfect parents”, but are quickly reminded that there is no such thing! We will daily fall short, mess up, and our children will be on the receiving end of our imperfect nature. Fortunately though, while we can never achieve perfection, we have a God who wants to work through us and loves our children more than we could ever imagine. Jesus has a perfect plan for our families and that plan includes allowing you to be the parent of your child, to model how to live a life for Jesus to your children.

We want to encourage you as you read the devotional below to pray and consider the following questions:

1. How can I give my children over to the Lord?
2. Am I feeling the pressure of being a perfect parent, if so why and how can I give this to God?
3. What are some biblical principles of parenting? How can I implement these principles in my home?
