God Loves You
“I can fathom a God who knows me, who made me, who hears me. But a God who is in love with me? A God who is crazy about me? But that is the message of the Bible. Our Father is relentlessly in pursuit of His children.” - Max Lucado
God loves you. This may not be what you expected to read starting off a devotional on depression. God and his love may seem so far from you during this season, yet the truth that He loves you does not change. Nothing you have done or will do can separate you from the love of Christ. His love and presence is right there with you. It is important to hold to this truth throughout this process. If there is something that is keeping you from believing that God loves you, choose to let it go. Stand in the truth that you are greatly loved!
We know that there are multiple reasons people find themselves in a season of depression. It could be due to internal struggles or a result of things you have experienced externally. There are also multiple kinds of depression. Regardless of the reason or the kind of depression you may be experiencing there is hope!
“There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.”
Proverbs 23:18
