Gospel Essentials
Gospel Essentials gets to the heart of it; the core truths of the gospel, laid out clearly and simply so you have a greater understanding of who God is, his redemption plan for humanity, and how to be empowered to share Jesus with others
Discipleship Essentials
Discipleship Essentials is where we talk about what it actually looks like to walk with Jesus day to day. To not just believe it, but live it. To be equipped to walk through every season of life in the strength of your identity in Christ and practice your faith with integrity and consistency.

Do I have to take Essentials in a specific order?
The beauty of Essentials is that it has been designed for impact, whether that means being a part of the three-week experience consecutively or taking them individually over time. The best thing you can do is get started by registering so we can plan for you!
What are the components of each Essentials track?
Each of the three experiences is designed similarly so you know what to expect. Each section: Church Essentials. Gospel Essentials and Discipleship Essentials includes:
- A meal. Dinner is on us, and we would love for you to meet others and get to know some of our staff.
- A mix of in-person teaching and engaging video elements, and stop points for questions and reflection.
- An Essentials resource, in the form of a booklet, that puts tools and resources in your hands to take a next step and pursue aspects of the course on your own time.
Who leads the Essentials experiences?
As a staff, it is our privilege to see and serve you during your Essentials experience. Staff and team will greet you, get you checked in, and make sure you feel right at home. All of the content shared in Essentials has been developed by our staff and will be taught by staff members. Additionally, our team hopes to use this experience to meet you, hear your story, and help you engage at True North as part of the family.
I've previously taken Growth Track; should I take Essentials?
The answer is unequivocally yes! We reimagined this experience with fresh content, reinforced it with new focus areas, and designed it with a heart for greater personal and collective impact. Nothing is the same, and that's what makes Essentials exciting. We believe you will leave more confident in your faith and more committed to seeing God work through you and the local church in a significant way.
