Conduits, Not Containers: Living Generously in a Selfish World

Nov 2, 2025    Ps. Jesse Eisenhart

Everything we have belongs to God. Through the parable of the talents (Matthew 25) and the widow’s offering (Mark 12), this message invites us to look beyond what we give and examine the heart behind it. True generosity isn’t a transaction—it’s a reflection of God’s nature through us. From manna in the wilderness to the boy’s lunch that fed thousands, Scripture reveals a God who gives abundantly and calls us to trust Him completely. Generosity began with God’s greatest gift—Jesus Christ (John 3:16)—and our giving becomes an overflow of that grace. We’re not owners but stewards, not containers but conduits of His blessings.
