FAQs

Why is the Mullica Hill Expansion the Legacy Focus?
The Mullica Hill Expansion had been on hold while we worked to secure a permanent wastewater management solution. In January 2026, we received DEP approval for our sewer tie-in, finally clearing the way for the expansion project to move forward.

In May 2026, we officially connected to the GCUA sewer system, serving both the Wellness Center and Mullica Hill Campus.
When will the project start & how long will it take?
Site work and construction will begin once we close the $8 million funding gap. Current estimates for site work and construction range from 12 to 18 months, depending on the time of year construction begins and the resulting weather conditions.
Are the renderings different than previous years?
Yes. We have planned for an expansion since completing the original facility, but until recently, we had only commissioned conceptual designs and basic floor plans. Once we received approval for the sewer tie-in, we began developing the architectural construction documents needed to move the project forward.

So, what changed? The most significant change was refining the project from approximately 58,000 to 36,000+ square feet while preserving what matters most: an 1,800-seat auditorium, a welcoming lobby and family space, and a fully renovated, well-equipped area for Compass Kids.

This more streamlined footprint reduces the overall project cost, allowing us to raise the necessary capital more quickly and begin construction sooner. Our goal is to steward our resources wisely while moving forward with both diligence and urgency.
Will the Main Auditorium have plastic seats?
No, that is not our current plan. We intend to use a combination of fixed seating and movable soft seating throughout the auditorium, comfortably accommodating around 1,800 people.

That said, we will continue to stay missional and remain flexible in our approach, always willing to adapt our methods to create more opportunities for people to hear the gospel.
