Generational Church
The following testimony follows the McCloskey family, in particular, Jerus Mccloskey as he shares the impact of being raised in a generational church and what that has meant for his relationship with Jesus.
Reflection
What does raising your child up in a generational church look like? We want to encourage you to be reminded that the priorities you set for yourself; coming to church on a Sunday, serving on a team, and being connected in biblical community. These are all priorities that your children see and learn from. If this is an area that you have struggled in or have never seen practically done in your own life, there is no shame in that! We as a church want to come alongside you and help you to be encouraged, take practical next steps in your walk with Jesus, and get connected in the local church! There are so many discipleship events such as Parenting Express, Marriage Express, etc., that you can connect to this year! Feel free to check out our website, www.truenorth.cc for periodic updates on when these events will occur during the year!
CHALLENGE
Take some time this week to pray and think about a practical next step as it pertains to being planted in the local church. What does that look like for you and your family? Feel free to reach out for prayer or questions at any point!
