He Never Fails
Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

“A heart at peace gives life to the body”

The term “worried sick” is actually true. The Bible said it first and medical science has confirmed this fact. The word “worry” actually comes from an old English word that means “to strangle or choke”. And that is exactly how it can feel sometimes, like you are being choked or strangled with anxious thoughts.
On a more practical side, worry is something we learn to do, it is not a trait we are born with. Not only do we learn how to worry, but we also practice it and it becomes a bigger habit and a more central part of our lives. The good news is that if we learn how to worry then you can also learn how to not worry. We are not stuck being a worrier for the rest of our lives. There is hope in Jesus Christ. He has something better for you. We are God's children. How much more will God take care of us than he takes care of birds? As Children of God, we have an unfair advantage on God's priority list. He takes care and looks after us like royalty.
A practical way we can get this truth into our thinking would be to make a list of 20 ways that God has taken care of us. Whenever we begin to feel anxious, we should go back and read over our list and remember all the times God has taken care of us. He has never failed us yet and he won't ever fail us!
