Breaking the Chains
Today’s message comes from Passion City Church. This is a powerful reminder of God’s ability to break our chains and how the gospel message of Jesus moves us from the shame of our past to the hope of our future with Jesus!
REFLECTION QUESTIONS
- James 5:16 “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.” This verse is talking about healing physically, but can very easily be applied to us spiritually as well. Reflect on how this verse speaks to you in this season right now. How can you put this verse into practice?
- Do you have Christians in your life that you can confess your sins to and seek Godly wisdom and encouragement? How is this helpful to you in your Christian walk and in healing from shame?
- If you don’t have Biblical community right now, how can you get connected?
TODAY'S CHALLENGE
We know that God has called us to be in community with other believers in all seasons. We want to encourage and challenge you today to think about your community and then consider the blessing of being a part of biblical community in this season. Consider people who can encourage you, walk with you, and do life with you.
