Jesus the King

They shouted, “Hosanna—save us!”But they didn’t understand what they were really asking for.

On Palm Sunday, Jesus entered Jerusalem as King—but not the kind of King people expected. The crowds wanted freedom from Rome. Jesus came to free them from something far deeper. And we’re not so different. What happens when God doesn’t meet our expectations? Can Jesus still be King when His timing isn't ours…or His methods invite us to confront our own plans?

This message explores the tension between what we want from God and what we actually need, and encourages us into a deeper trust in His purpose, even when it doesn’t make sense.
